Activation & Installation Guide

Follow this guide to download, install, authorize, and scan Diaspora Plugins across your workstations and DAWs.

Download the Central Hub

All Diaspora plugins, preset expansion banks, and licensing activations are managed using the Diaspora Central Hub application.

Log in and Authorize

Launch the Central Hub application after installation. Enter your registered email address and password to sync your account entitlements.

Purchases made through our store automatically bind to your account—no manual license codes are required.

Verify Default Plugin File Paths

By default, the Central Hub installs formats automatically into system standard folders:

macOS Plugin Directories: • VST3: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/
• Audio Units (AU): /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/
• AAX (Pro Tools): /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/
Windows Plugin Directories: • VST3: C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\
• AAX (Pro Tools): C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins\

Scan Plugins in Your DAW

Ableton Live: Go to Preferences > Plug-ins > Enable "Use VST3 Plug-in System Folders" and click Rescan.

Logic Pro X: Go to Preferences > Plug-in Manager > Select Diaspora Plugins > Click Reset & Rescan Selection.

FL Studio: Go to Options > Manage Plugins > Click Find installed plugins.

Pro Tools: Restart Pro Tools. The software will automatically scan new AAX binaries upon startup.

Managing & Deactivating Machines

Each purchase grants 3 active seat authorizations. If you upgrade your machine or reformat your hard drive, log into your web Dashboard to remotely revoke unused machine authorizations.
